National Volunteer Week 2017
To our volunteers, thank you for all that you do for our military and their families. In 2016 alone, 1,750 volunteers gave 112,819 hours of service at USO-Metro locations and events across the region!
USO-Metro has been trusted by the community and relied on by local military since 1941 to be the bridge between those who serve and those who wish to show their gratitude for that service. It is because of our dedicated volunteers that we are truly able to carry out our mission each day. Please join us in thanking the thousands of dedicated individuals that make our mission a reality every day.
During the most recent National Volunteer Week, we shared stories of volunteers both past and present that have given of their time and talents to brighten the lives of our military in the National Capital Region. Tune in below to see the stories of four incredible individuals that have dedicated so much of their lives to serving those who serve and their families.
