Welcome to the July 2019 edition of USO-Metro Center Highlights! Read on for a peek of how USO-Metro has been serving service members and their families throughout the region.

USO-Metro had some exciting activities throughout this month. At the beginning of the month we celebrated Independence Day with a 5K race and a Nationals game.

USO Warrior and Family Centers

USO Warrior and Family Center at Bethesda

The USO Warrior and Family Center at Bethesda had a movie night drive-in! We love the creativity the children had in making their cars look like elephants while they watched the movie Dumbo.

USO Warrior and Family Center at Fort Belvoir

The USO Warrior and Family Center at Fort Belvoir welcomed the National Symphony Orchestra for a Family Ensemble Performance.

USO Airport Lounges

BWI Airport USO Lounge

The BWI Airport USO Lounge continued to provide for traveling service members and their families thanks to the help of community partners!

Dulles International Airport USO Lounge

The Dulles International Airport USO Lounge also honored their community partners for supporting the mission in serving service members and their families by providing plenty of food to go around.

Reagan Airport USO Lounge and Joint Base Andrews Airport USO Lounge

The Reagan Airport and Joint Base Andrews Airport USO Lounges celebrated Independence Day and thanked service members, veterans, and military families for their support!

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall USO Honor Guard Lounge

The Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall USO Honor Guard Lounge shared a reminder for the next Y.U.M. lunch on August 7th. Service members, don’t miss out on this delicious meal with a great community.

USO Fort Meade

Summertime means outdoor concerts, and USO Fort Meade delivered! The Center hosted two bands for an afternoon of food, fun, and rock music!

Baltimore MEPS USO

The Baltimore MEPS USO shared a quote to thank our service members for fighting to win our freedom every day.

USO-Metro Mobile and Field Operations

The USO-Metro Mobile and Field Operations team were ready to join the Washington, D.C. 4th of July Parade!
