USO Metro Visits Patriot Point with Military Families as Part of the Beyond the Base Program
USO-Metro visited Taylors Island, Maryland with nine military families from all throughout the National Capital Region as part of the Beyond the Base Program. Laughter was abundant as families reconnected, away from work, busy schedules and the stresses that often come with military family life. Camping, crabbing, kayaking, and plenty of sunshine sure kept the group busy!
USO-Metro would like to thank Patriot Point made possible by Military Bowl for their incredible hospitality and Heroes on the Water George Washington Chapter for providing kayaks, water activities & endless outdoor fun for our families.
