Happy Thanksgiving from USO-Metro
Military families gathered at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and The USO Warrior and Family Center at Bethesda for an afternoon of family fun during the Turkeys for Troops Distribution festival.
Turkeys for Troops is a program that provides local military families with the traditional ingredients needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for a family of 4-6, including a gift card to purchase a fresh turkey or produce from their local Giant grocery store. This year, meal boxes were distributed in a fun, festival environment filled with booths, games, refreshments, activities and prizes!
A very special thank you to all our amazing donors, volunteers and our Turkeys for Troops Sponsors: Citrix Systems, Inc., Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, Ernst & Young (EY), Tegna Foundation & WUSA9, Raytheon company and Avnet.
Happy Thanksgiving from your USO-Metro family!
